If you are a watershed coordinator registered for the Nov 17-18 virtual Leadership for Midwestern Watersheds event, we encourage you to propose your own “HUC Talk”.
This is an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the work of their peers, including you! Talks are limited to 6 minutes, and must address the question: How are you communicating conservation in your project? You may present a success story, an innovative strategy, a unique partnership, or lessons learned. We welcome any kind of format that can be delivered via Zoom: presentations, pre-recorded videos, guided discussions, online polls, and farmer interviews. Creative ideas are highly encouraged.
Presentations will be scheduled during breakouts session at a yet-to-be-determined period of the virtual conference. Please note that due to limited time on the agenda, we may not be able to accept all proposed talks.
If you are interested in presenting, email a one-paragraph description of your talk to Liina Keerd (firstname.lastname@example.org) by October 30. We will confirm the roster of speakers for the HUC Talks session by November 6.
