Sally Flis Joins Sand County Foundation Board

MADISON, Wis. – Sally Flis, Ph.D. has joined the board of directors of the Sand County Foundation, a national nonprofit working at the intersection of agriculture and environmental improvement.
Flis is the Director of Sustainable Ag Programs with Nutrien Ag Solutions, a leading global provider of crop inputs and services. She designs programs for crop consultants to engage with farms for quantification of multiple sustainable metrics. She is passionate about the agricultural and economic sustainability of growers in the U.S. and Canada.
“We are thrilled to bring Sally’s extensive experience and perspective to our board,” said Kevin McAleese, Sand County Foundation President and CEO.
Flis’ professional experience includes serving as the Senior Director of Agronomy at The Fertilizer Institute in Washington D.C. where she worked on the expansion of 4R Nutrient Stewardship programs.
Flis, who resides in Upstate New York, also serves on boards of Field to Market, and U.S. Farmers and Ranchers in Action.
