This highly anticipated event brings together Leopold Conservation Award recipients and other leading land stewards with conservation leaders representing industry, government, academia and nonprofit organizations for a stimulating two-day symposium focused on inspiring, real-life conservation success stories and creative approaches to partnerships and engaging the next generation of land stewards in ethical land management.
Participants will enjoy one-on-one and small group learning and networking in addition to immersive plenary sessions and unforgettable visits to three Leopold Conservation Award recipient farms in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York: Oechsner Farm, Sunnyside Farms, and Greenfield Farms.
August 1 – Optional afternoon outing and evening welcome reception
August 2 – Daylong tour to three Leopold Conservation Award recipient farms followed by dinner along the shore of Skaneateles Lake
August 3 – Symposium learning sessions and experiences on the Cornell University campus
