Sand County Foundation’s team of scientists works in partnership with farmers, ranchers, forestland owners to conduct needed research and demonstrations of effective conservation farming methods. This work provides agronomic and environmental data to advance the adoption of land management techniques that can improve soil, water resources, and wildlife habitat. Our team developed a framework local conservation staff can use to set practical, watershed-level clean water targets. View the open-access manuscript in the Journal of Environmental Quality.
