Peer-based conservation learning cohorts are a free opportunity for beginning, first generation, military veterans, and other historically underserved farmers and ranchers in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin.

Over six months (September 2026 to February 2027), three small cohorts will learn from one another and build valuable skills and knowledge on:

  • Conservation & Soil Health - Apply science principles to your own farm or ranch.
  • Financial Stability, Land Access & Marketing - Learn what you need to build a viable farm business.
  • Communication & Catalytic Leadership - Telly your story and build your capacity to engage your local community.
